Getting Started

I originally studied marketing and after moving to Baltimore started taking CADD Drafting, Engineering and Design classes. After two years, I starting working for a construction company and eventually gained enough experience to go on to work for architectural and engineering firms working on a wide range of projects. With that experience, I got the chance to work for a major power company in Baltimore, BGE/Exelon as a GIS Designer just before moving to New England.

Favorite Projects

My favorite project that I’ve worked on was when I was working for a Navy contractor as a Mechanical Designer. My job was to help with design improvements using Solidworks and help coordinate the engineering product support team for AUVs (autonomous underwater vehicle). Spending time in the lab and brain storming ideas with other mechanical and electrical engineering teams was really exiting.

Interests

In my free time I like playing soccer weekly. I play in two different leagues in the area; it helps me keep me in shape. I also enjoying traveling and finding new places to eat and drink around New England. In the fall I usually try to find new places to hike or bike around. Staying active is important, so I try as much as possible to pick different activities to keep me busy.
