I was always interested in small construction projects early in life. Growing up in the Communist country of Bulgaria, I picked up the use of hand tools quickly and built custom furniture in my teen years. I moved to the United States at the age of thirty three and started working for a construction company as a laborer, but quickly became a foreman for a commercial construction crew. My personality and motivation always pushed me forward and at the age of 44, I went back to school at New England Institute of Technology to study architecture. My goal was set to become an Architect. I received my Bachelor’s degree in 2013. I joined the graduate program at Roger Williams University and graduated in 2016 with a Master of Architecture degree. In 2017 I started my career in architecture as an architectural designer a few months later, became a Project Manager. In September of 2019, I was pleased to join the William Starck Architects, Inc. team.
